Jason Purdy is a media technology enthusiast and avid Arsenal fan.
After majoring in Computer Science at the University of California at Santa Barbara, Jason joined Digital Chocolate, one of the largest mobile game publishers in the world, where he led development on several games including the word game Spelltris.
Next, Jason helped to start 3jam, a reply-to-all text messaging service, where he built a mobile website and applications including J2ME, Brew and later iOS. 3jam was acquired by Microsoft.
After being the Program Manager at the Associated Press for all mobile initiatives including iCircular and the acclaimed news app, AP Mobile, Jason joined Sports Illustrated as the Director of Digital Products, launching the new SI mobile site.
His lastest side project is Arsenal Baton, a shared Instagram account where every Arsenal match day a new Arsenal fan from a different country shares their local Arsenal experience.
Jason also writes Alien Movie Reviews, creates Ringtones, an annual Summer mix, posts designs to Pinterest and photos on Instagram.
